Coverall Arena Set up:
We are raising funds to help make this happen. Our client base is Central Alberta. Our programs are directed at helping people who have special needs and people who may be at risk due to emotional issues. Our organization is passionate about providing opportunities for any interested parties to enjoy the benefits of engaging with horses. Our goal and mission is to ensure that all who wish to benefit by participating in a diverse range of equine related activities are not hindered by lack of funds or limited access. Many of our clients are unable to participate during inclement weather due to their very special needs and weather has a great impact on their ability to be with the horses. Other programs require a covered arena to be used for clients in order to gain the maximum benefit.
Currently Special Abilities HorseManShip is operating in an outside pasture with no indoor arena.

Driving Cart and Horse(s)
A unique aspect of the program offered is learning to drive a cart and horse. Currently the program offers a miniature horse and cart. We would love to see large cart and team donated where the horse can also be ridden by some of our adult riders. Costs of this can vary. Raising funds for the purchase of these or donations of money towards the purchase is appreciated.
Subsidize Rider Cost
Current costs for lessons is $55 / session. Gaitway wants to ensure that any individual, regardless of age or ability, is able to participate in a variety of equine activities, suitable to their needs. In order to offer these beneficial experiences we need to subsidize our riders. . YOU can participate in ensuring that the programs are available to all those who desire to be a part of the world of horses. The rider also participates in paying for their riding sessions. You can help provide funding for our Bursary Program. For Each rider the cost for a year of riding, once per week is $2600. For 4 riders the cost is $10,400

Shaw Charity Classic
Promotion and advertising is an ongoing expense! We would like to have 3 large free standing banners made to be used around Central Alberta to promote Gaitway and what it offers. The current cost if about $1500.00. Of course if your company wants to donate the banners the is GREAT too! Expenses also come up for brochures, business cards, trade show entry fees and more.
Birdies for Kids is a program designed to help raise funds for local charities, engage the community in the tournament, and provide matching funds for each charity involved. The program itself acts as a partnership builder between donors and charities, as all money will flow through the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation towards Alberta charities. All administrative costs and efforts for the program including website administration, credit card fees, promotional materials, invoicing, etc. will be covered by the Shaw Charity Classic tournament. This means that 100% of all donated funds through the Foundation will go directly to the charity selected. On top of your donation, the most exciting part of BFK is the matching pool. For your generous contribution, up to 50% will be matched and the funds will go directly to your chosen charity.
